How to not be tracked on my iphone 5
My parents use at&t family map to track our phones. Apperently turning off location services doesn't work. Since i have the Iphone 5 if i delete the Check-In app will it disable my phone from being tracked? And i know turning my phone off works but i can't do that please help

- My iphone was stolen. Find my iphone tracked it 15 miles from my house. Should I call police? It happened two weekends ago and I don't think the person ever turned it on until today but I got an email saying it was turned on, lost mode was activated so it locked itself, and it has tracked it to a city about 15 miles away from my house at an apartment complex. I don't think it would be necessary to go there and start knocking on doors. Should I contact police? Its an iphone 4.

- If my iPhone is being tracked by GPS not using any apps, how do I turn it off from my phone? Can I just turn off my location services or do I have to do something else? Will putting my phone on airplane mode do the trick? (the gps system is not using cellular data)
- If i turn the location services off on my iphone can my iphone still be tracked? Okay my mom has a tracker on my phone and i don't want her tracking me all the time but its okay sometimes, if i turn the location services of on my iphone will she still be able to track me? And if not will she know she can't track me? Also will i be able to call and text on this setting? Please and thanks peeps!
