How to play music from iPhone to car?

I wanted to know if there was a way that I could play the music on my iPhone in my car. My car doesn't have a USB port or anything special like that. All I have is a CD player. I was hoping there might be a device that allows music to be played in my car. Any help is appreciated.

Check to see if you have an auxiliary port (looks like a headphone jack, and might be labeled AUX). If you have that you can buy an auxiliary cable, plug one end into your iphone headphone jack and the other into the AUX port. Check where the radio is, or maybe inside the side arm storage, it could be in a variety of places. See the picture I have provided in the source to see what it looks like.

With a iPhone FM transmitter

Depending on your car, you may be able to use an ipod integration kit sold by GTACARKITS.COM. You can use the pick your car tool on the left side of the main page to see if your car is compatible. If so, it is probably the best option. The kit plugs directly into the back of your stereo, giving you cd quality audio. You will also be able to control the music from your car radio controls, and the iphone will be charged when connected to the kit. It is very easy to install, usually taking less than a half hour to do. They are also affordable. Depending on the car its being installed to, the price ranges from $99-$119USD.

  • Play music from iPhone through car stereo? I have an older car with a cassette player but its broken and none of the cassette adapters work with it. I have an audio cable and I was wondering if attaching a USB head to one end and having the audio on the other end then plugging that into the cigarette lighter with one of those adapters would play music through my stereo?
  • Peugeot 206 - how to play iPhone music in my car? I already have a cheap FM transmitter but FM transmitters in general are pretty poor quality and don't cut the fine edge. The bass sounds poor and it frequently drops out and then back in I'm looking for a way to hook my iPhone up to the car with a wire, but I don't want to have to take my radio out etc… Is that possible?
