How to remove jailbreak from iPhone 4 without restoration?

I want to know if it's possible. If it isn't, please let me know how to go about then.

**ALSO, will restoring my phone force me to upgrade to OS 6, or will it remain at os 5.1.1 (which is what I want!)

and update or restore goes to ios 6

It's not possible.

If you have the software for 5.1.1 (you can download it) then you can still stay with 5.1.1.

Edit: Just because there's an update doesn't mean that you can't get it anymore. I've put a link for download in the Source.

  • Would backing up then restoring an iphone remove a jailbreak? Due to the recent release of IOS 7, i plan on updating my iphone 5(ios 6.1.2) but it is jailbroken. Would backing up then restoring my iphone keep all my pictures and app data while removing the jailbreak? If not what is your best recommendation for me to do. Would really appreciate an answer thanks!
  • Iphone 4 stuck in itunes restoration? I just updated my Iphone 4 to iOS 7, and in set up, it asked me if I wanted to restore from itunes back up, so I clicked that, it said plug this device into itunes, then when the back up finished it is stuck on the screen saying "Connected to Itunes" and I can't go anywhere or finish the set up. I have repeated this 3 times now and turned the phone off and on again Can anyone please help? This is v. Urgent
  • Iphone 3g restoration problem? I got iPhone 3g. From settings i selected erase all data.phone switched off and then stuck to apple logo sign. I connected it to the iTunes and start the restoration process.downloaded the software from iTunes. But while restoration almost at the end of the setup an error came every time i tried "the iphone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1015)"
  • Install cracked Apps, without Jailbreak. On a mac without Bootcamp So i spent the last 4.5Hours raping google for some sort of solution but failed:/ As said in the title i need to know a way to install cracked apps on a non-jailbroken iphone 5. I'm on a mac so 25pp & Koaeyang etc won't work. Usually one could use parallels but because i have problems with the bootcamping i need an alternative!
