The "connection" is Wi-Fi or cell service provider from which you get data coverage when Wi-Fi is not available. There's not much you can do about the server somewhere out in the internet… Other than wait for the server to become available - or reconnected.
- What does connection to server failed mean? This last week, my email on my iphone will not open. Whenever I try to log in, it pops up Connection to server failed. I'm not seeing anything in my general settings that will help. I've already tried turning the phone off and on.
