How to reset/erase an iphone?
My sis just got me an iphone from a friend. Her friends stuff is still programed in the phone and i want to get rid of it. I went to settings then general and clicked reset then erase all contents/settings and varified erase iphone then it asked for her apple ID password for ***@rocketmail.com. I deleted what i could and replaced it with my stuff but how do I reset the phone completly without having her account password… I noticed a teeny tiny hole on the top of the phone is that a way to reset it at the service store?

I have jailbroken my device and used terminal to change my MAC address so that I could connect to school's Wi-Fi. But when I wanted to change it to its initial number, I typed in a wrong value and it just messed up my Wi-Fi, I can't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Wonder if resetting to factory settings would help…

I want to change the text to bold on my iPhone, but it says "applying this setting will restart your iPhone", does that mean all my content and settings will be erased that is on my phone or will my stuff still be there on my phone and the phone will just restart to apply the new changes
- When you reset your iPhone's settings. Does it erase anything like pictures or videos? My dad has tons of videos and pictures and he was trying to get a software update but he couldn't because he has a iPhone 3. I told him to reset his settings so that he could get the update. Now he won't let me because he is scared they will all be delete.
- When I set up a new iphone and reset everything, does it erase cellular data too? I got a Sprint 3G on my iPhone and I want to reset it. If I reset everything, does it erase the Cellular data with Sprint 3G too. Please I need to know so I can set up as new iPhone by using iTunes on the computer.
