How to restart my iPhone 6s?

Yeah, just got a new phone and before that I had a Samsung… I persuaded my parents to believe that iPhones are better than Samsung (arguably) and I don't really know how to use it properly! Don't judge, I've only used Samsungs before.

Hold the power and home button at the same time.

Just hold the power button down. The screen will go white with a black Apple logo in the middle. Then the screen will go black. When it goes black just hold the power button down again. And wait. The lock screen will then appear.

  • WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I RESTART MY IPHONE Okay so you see my iPhone 4 will not get any new IPhone updates, and I want to know if I restart My settings will I lose all my contact and pics.that's the main thing I'm worried about. Also I want to know if I will get knew updates?!
  • Trying to Restart my Jailbroken iphone but its stuck on the loading screen? I jailbroke my phone and i wasn't happy with cydia so i pressed to erase all content and setting to restart my whole phone, and thn it turned black and its been on that circle loading swirly thingy, is been like this for about a half an hour, what's taking it so long to load? (btw my on/off button doesn't work i have to use my charger/home button to wake it up) is it broken or what do i do?
  • MY iphone is jailbroken and its in a constant restart/reboot.how do i fix this? It has the apple "apple" logo on screen and it won't go away, i've reset it by holding down the sleep and home button at the same time.nothing happening. I havn't upgraded to the new 6.1.3 for iphone yet, i'm downloading it through itunes now. Will that help? I have my iPhone backed up on my computer but it won't reset from back up saying an "error has occurred" it doesn't say what error, what should i do to use my iphone? Jailbroken or not
  • My iphone 3gs gets off and doesn't restart without plug in charger? I've jailbroken iphone 3gs 5.1.1.It gets off and don't start, not even show battery low symbole, starts only after connecting charger. It happens even when battery is full or not low!
