How to restore iPhone backup onto another device?
So I accidentally deleted some messages that I need back, and I know I backed up my phone through iTunes and that I could retrieve the messages by restoring my backup, but I don't have enough storage on my phone to do that. Is there any way that I could restore the backup to my iPad? Or is there any way that I could retrieve these messages at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Should be able to, though not entirely sure about the messages (if they are texts) since the iPad of course is not a phone.
- Will my jailbreak on one device transfer to another device via iTunes? So I bought an iPhone 5 today and I'm afraid to sync it to my Apple ID/ iTunes because my 8GB iPod is also synced to that iTunes account and its jailbroken. I don't want my jailbroken iPod to affect my iPhone 5. Will it affect it? I don't think it will but I just want to make sure before I sync it for the first time.
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- How do you stop calls coming from one device coming to your device from iCloud (apple iPhone)? I'm 13 and i don't have a credit card so i use my mums account and since my phone and her phone has the same icloud, her calls come into MY phone and i've tried making a new apple id but it won't work so how can i stop it (i've already logged out on my phone) so how can i stop it?

Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
