How to restore iPhone data from an iTunes backup?

My iphone has been "wiped" but I have not been able to download all my data and files and pictures and voice messges. I just ever synced my iPhone with iTunes on computer once. What else can I do to recover the deleted iPhone data?

You can only recover data that you backed up originally by restoring the most recent backup to your phone in iTunes. It's also possible that you may have an iCloud backup so check if there's a more recent one there.

Any data created since your last backup can't be restored and is gone unless you can reload it from alternate sources.

Prevention is better than cure. If you connect your iPhone to your host computer each evening to recharge it then you can also backup every single day. I just back mine up weekly.
