How to restore my iPhone from iCloud or my computer?
Yesterday i completely set up my iPhone 5 as a new iPhone instead of restoring the old settings to it (Yeah I know stupid move) to install ios7. I backed everything up to my computer and to iCloud. Now that I realized I messed up I don't know what to do now. I plugged my phone back into my computer this morning because my apps were not loaded so it probably did an automatic back up to my computer replacing the one I did last night to my computer. I haven't touched iCloud as of yet but the main reason I'm doing this is because some of my social games don't have a login just basically ID numbers and i can't access them through FB because I never logged in with it and I really don't feel like starting the whole game over. I don't even know if iCloud backs up all your app data.
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings
Download I cloud to your phone. If not there already. Put your email address and your password for it. You should be able to restore your settings and aps from there
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- Old iphone Icloud lock still enabled after I buy a new iPhone with icloud on it? If I had my iPhone stolen with icloud lock on and I was tracking it. But I buy a new one and activate the icloud and tracker, does that mean the old iPhone is unlocked? What happens to it? Will I be notified if someone turns it on? Can I track it?

Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
- IPhone 4s iCloud backup restore? I needed to get a replacement iPhone 4s today. I had backed up my previous iPhone 4s with iCloud the morning it stopped working, while I had the most recent iOS update (6.1). I turned on the new iPhone, ready to set it up with iCloud backup. The backup I wanted was in grey as the new iPhone only had the iOS 6.0.1. How can I get the iPhone to have the back up I want?
