How to set the number of rings on my iPhone before it goes it voicemail?

I have an iPhone 4S on vodaphone and I can't work out how to change the number of rings before going to voicemail, somebody please help.

That's set by the network, all you can do is set divert immediately or on no answer

Not network set
On REAL phones just to be clear Bluetooth / microSD all the phone I have had and just one more distinction, being proper noun Capital letter start, nOT tHe sEcond lEtter cApitalised.

Ok you can't on phone alter ie amend the time to another time***
You first have to DELETE, then SUBMIT another value

Only these time intervals allowed BEFORE it goes to VM 5/ 10/ 15/ 20/ 25 and 30 seconds max
*** so eg if you have 15 second set you can't change it to 20 second DELETE 15 submit 20.

SETTINGS / CALL DIVERTS / Voice Call / All Voice Calls/ Cancel ALL
now you should be able to input a new value

Enter the value as only now will it be offered [GSM only offers 5 second interval up to 30 seconds]

On my sAmsung and nOkia, and sOny, iPhones may do it differently i don't know

  • Is there a way to limit the number of rings on an Iphone 7? Incoming calls will ring 7 or 8 times before going to voicemail. Is there a way to have it only ring like 4 times and then go to voicemail?
  • Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
  • IPhone 4S rings once then goes to voicemail? When people try to call me sometimes my phone rings once, then goes to voicemail and sometimes doesn't ring at all. They have to call me at least 2-3 times before it actually works. Why is this? Do Not Disturb is off (I don't think that would be the problem anyway since it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't). This is a BRAND NEW iPhone… Is there another setting I should be looking for or should I take it into the Apple store?
