Swipe up from bottom screen and it will bring you control centre panel then tap the last icon from top right corner.

Which accelerometer feature are you trying to disable?
If you're trying to disable the parallax effect and the unnecessary motion, go to Settings > General > Reduce Motion. Flip the slider on.
If you're trying to lock the portrait orientation, swipe up for the Control Center. See that lock with the arrow around it. Tap that, and you're done! If you tried both, you've disabled all the accelerometer features we could find.
