How to turn off the lady speaking on my iphone?

Every time I press a bottom I voice speaks on my iPhone

This sounds completely like a software bug, because I haven't had this problem and I've recreated the situation and the voice command still didn't turn on. The voice command feature should only come on when you either hold down the sleep button or the middle button on the 3GS headset. I agree that there should be an on/off option for voice option, but most likely Apple won't include it in future updates.

If you own an iPhone 4S that lady who's speaking to you is a virtual assistant called Siri. To turn her off follow these instructions:
1) Go to Settings
2)Tap on General
3) Click on Siri
4) Turn the switch to off (Tap on the on position to turn it off)
5) Confirm that you want to disable Siri

  • Should i buy lady gaga's artpop online or buy the cd? - 1 I'm so confused! If I buy the artpop cd then I'll get gifts and posters with it. But if I buy it on itunes it's more convenient so I won't have to download everything on my iphone, ipad etc. Plus I think If I buy the album on itunes, I could also get the songs on her app. I don't know?

  • IPhone 5s won't switch on, but when I can hear Siri speaking when I press the home button? My dad was on Facebook, and it wouldn't load. Like, just blue borders etc. So he closed all the apps & tried re-opening Facebook and it still wouldn't show anything except blue borders. So he restarted his phone and there were no visuals on the screen. But when he held the home button, we could hear Siri's voice. Any idea why this might be happening? Or suggestions on what he could do?
