I have bought a used apple iphone which is on the Orange network and I need to unlock it. It has no sim fitted but I know the previous mobile number that it had with the previous sim. Any advice would be appreciated.
It depends on the lock. If it's a carrier lock, the carrier has to unlock it. If it's activation (iCloud) lock, it can't be unlocked or even reset without the password. If it's a passcode, it can't be unlocked without the passcode but it can be reset.
