How to use home sharing on itunes? Transfering music?
I have a computer with my account with all my songs on it which are on my phone and my sister has a laptop with her account and her songs on it but she just got a new iphone is there anyway she can copy some of my songs from my account into her library? Or is that not possible?
The way i share media thru iTunes with the rest of my family is using Homeshare. Heres how i have always done it: Go to your computer, and open iTunes then find home-sharing (it may be under the advanced tab, and you may need to turn it on), once on follow the on-screen set up, then go to your sister computer and do the same thing (make sure when you set up home share you use the same iTunes ID for everything). Also make sure both computers are on the same network, then when she opens iTunes, on the left hand side she sould see your music library pop up and she is free to browse and then its just click and drag from there. P. S. Both computers have to be on, with itunes running.

For you help please do follow the following steps:-
1> plug in your iphone with Mac.
2>Go to your itunes on Mac. And create a play list with some name.
3> Go to library in Mac itunes. And Copy the music of your choice.
4> Drag the music to the play list.
5> now finally, drag and drop playlist on top of the iphone icon. Now, enjoy your music on i phone.
- Transfering music onto iphone 5? My iphone, when connected to my itunes, allows me to transfer music by artist, album, genre, or playlist, but not by song. If I transfer music by either artist or album, All the music on that selection will transfer, but thing is i don't want all of it, just a few songs. How can i transfer only the songs i want?

Ok my computer crashed a whole ago and I found one of my old sd cards with music I want on it but whence I copy and paste into iTunes as soon as I pull out sd card the music says unable to locate files… I want to put it on my iPhone to so just leaving the card in the comp.dosnt help…

When I plug my phone in, I can listen to the music that is on my phone in iTunes, but I have no option to transfer my music. I have no music on my mac. Not all of the songs are on the iCloud, whatever that is. I just want to get music from my iPhone to my mac.
