How to zoom in and out the screen on an iPhone 4?

First of all, I don't even know how I keep zooming the screen. Then, the screen gets stuck with everything magnified. Usually, I can slide the screen around to turn it off, but even the off slider is so huge that I can't turn it off.

Obviously, I'm not very tech-smart. (haha)

How do I get the screen back to normal size? How is it zooming, anyways?

Triple tap the home screen and activiate zoom then you can double tap the screen with three fingers to zoom in/out

Turn off the zoom feature in the settings. It's in the accessibility settings.

Only certain apps (such as Safari) let you zoom (and unzoom) the screen. To zoom, put 2 fingers on the screen and spread them apart while continuing to touch the screen. To un-zoom, do the same but move your two fingers towards eachother.

The zooming is done by software that tracks the location of your fingers touches.

Sounds like you've somehow activated the Zoom feature. Double tap with 3 fingers to turn it on/off.

Check Settings > General > Accessibility to turn it off.

Tap the screen twice with three fingers to zoom in.
Pinch the screen inward with two fingers to zoom out, or tap the screen twice again with three fingers to zoom out.
