I got my iPhone 5 for $199 through AT&T. That did involve signing up for a two year contract though.
For that price you're likely to get a phony, dodgy, or (mis)used one.
In which case you might as well get a brand new Chinese Android phone that leaves the iP4's specs in the dark.
BUT… It's Android and if you really are a loyal Apple fan boy, then Android isn't for you.
If you're more open minded, then more opportunities come your way.
What the carriers provide in discounts to the phone, they make more in getting you signed up for 2 year contracts at higher billing rates and ETF fees.
