I'm being tracked through my iPhone?

My boyfriend confessed that he has been tracking my every move through my cellphone. However, he did not say how… I recently bought the new iphone and I haven't synched anything because I'm afraid that there might be an app that he installed in my phone. I have no idea how to find out the way that I was being tracked? Can anybody give me some advice please?

I think he's using the app find iphone
He's using your apple ID and password
I think all you need to do is change your Apple ID or password or just make a new One it should work

Do you have your iCloud on? Look up info about iCloud, and of you already know what it is. Switch it to off. And that'll stop it. That's really the only possible way he could track you without installing an app. I've had ex's like that, and just a heads up. They just keep getting worse. /: good luck!

If what your boyfriend said is true, then you should probably have a serious talk about the trust in your relationship. If you do not trust one another you will not go very far or get any closer to each other. Be open and honest with him and explain your feelings about this.

As for the phone, how new is it? Which model? If it is the new iPhone 5, then I'm unsure how he was able to install a "spy" application. I know for a fact that (unless your boyfriend is a genius hacker) it is not possible to track the new iPhone without it running strangely. Does you phone stall, flicker, or act strange?

If it is an older iPhone and not updated, then it might be bugged with a spy software. My younger sister has been tracked in her phone, and failing to update the phone will keep whatever app inside. But if you want to get rid of the tracking software, you MUST update your phone. Doing this will erase any hidden app that is spying on your phone. Of course, your boyfriend will be alerted but he will no longer be able to track you.

Please, before anything, talk to him and ask why he would do such a thing! Honesty is always the best way to go in this situation. He might just be saying this to make you feel uncomfortable. Ask him what would make him do this, and clarify anything that might've made him suspicious.

  • IPhone being tracked via Wi-Fi? My brother found an iPhone5 a week ago at the mall and decided to keep it. (I know he's wrong for that ). He took out the sim card, turned off the location services & the findmyiphone thing. The service is now off. I guess the real owner took the service off. He connected it to iTunes and restored it to a new phone. Now all the data's erased. He connected it to our home Wi-Fi & now he's all worried that they could still track him. Can they?
  • If my iPhone is being tracked by GPS not using any apps, how do I turn it off from my phone? Can I just turn off my location services or do I have to do something else? Will putting my phone on airplane mode do the trick? (the gps system is not using cellular data)
  • How to tell if my imessages are being tracked? I have an iphone and i'm fairly certain my parents are tracking my messages sent through imessage. They might be using a spy software like teensafe, but how can i know for sure if they are and what program they are using? Is there a way to check?
  • How to save my IPhone 4 from being through the washing machine? I noticed a thumping noise inside the washing machine than I went to go get my phone and it was not there and than I ran to the washing machine because I was curious of what that sound was and I dug around to find my iPhone. I'm pretty sure the Phone was in there for about 15-20 minutes and I ws wondering is there any hope of recovering it?
