I bought my iphone 5 from apple at Christmas and it said unlocked?
I've been on a orange sim only deal since I got it and my contract runs out this month. I want to move to 02, so will I be able to buy another sim only deal or will I need to unlock it again? I bought it unlocked so will it be now locked to Orange since I'm on orange?
Since it's unlocked all you need is another SIM card. It would be a good idea to check with 02 to make sure that they are using compatible bands, but 99% chance it's going to work fine.
If like the states, unlocked once is unlocked for good. SIM does the carrier tethering. Shouldn't be a problem. Best luck.
- Will Apple take back or repair/replace my iphone 4 if I bought it around Christmas? I got it around Christmas since my samsung intensity wouldn't hold a charge unless I had the right charger it liked. So I got the iphone 4 for Christmas because my dad wanted to see how id do with a smartphone. But since it came preinstalled with iOS 6.1.2,(Verizon store) I was wondering if it were to malfunction, could I get a new iphone 4? Or would they tell me to buy an entire new phone?
- Orange said my iphone is unlocked and its not? They said its been unlocked after paying them £20 and waiting ages. I did the instructions told. Restoring it etc. After all that it still says sim card not compatible. Why is it still not working? Do I have to wait or something I have no clue and I'm getting really fed up now. My Tesco sim was in the phone and I tried it 3 times and still nothing.
