Replacing my screen basically, and neither my charger is working now and the screen just got black

- My iPhone broke, can I use my old phone and alter my verizon minutes and data? So, I can't technically afford to get a replacement iPhone but I'm in a 2 year contract. Can I use an old Blackberry and alter my data and minutes plan until my 2 year contract is up and then get a discounted iPhone and enter into another 2 year contract?
