I was caught shoplifting not that long ago, my court date got moved to next week due to my request. My dad's friend knows the judge and can get her to give me a chance to prove myself worthy that i'm not a thief, liar, or cheater. It was my first time and i regret it so much. I've learned my lesson, everything is on the line due to my mistake. I know what i'm going to say the judge next week and i'm hoping and praying that will go well. My question is if i walked in to verzion wanted a iphone, will verzion check my social and see if i have done wrong? And if so, could they deny me to buy the phone. I really need a phone for college. (please no mean answers, or rude answers, i already feel extremely bad enough. I don't need others putting me down).
They do a credit check, not a criminal background check. Even convicted felons have cellphones.
