I can't sign up for instagram
The instagram app came on my iphone 4 automatically so I didn't have to install it. Anyway I was signing up for an account by putting all my info and stuff and then I press "done" and it loads then it says "Your version of Instagram is out of date. Please upgrade your app in the App Store to sign up for an Instagram." Then whenever I go to the app store and click "update" for the instagram app, it says "This app requires iOS 5." I don't know if calling customer service will help. Is there any way I can update to iOS 5 on my own?
Yes, there's a way you can update it yourself. Everyone updates it on their own. All you have to do is go to your settings. In your settings you see a tab that says "general". Click it and then you will see another tab that says "software update". When you click it it leads you to accepting the update and there it goes. It updates, simple and easy. Hope i helped.

Even now I can sign into Skype from my computer, but the problem is that I can't sign in from my new iphone -- this is a problem because it is the only way I can call my deaf grandmother from out of the country when I'm not at home.
