I dropped my iphone 3gs and got a white screen from it how do i fix it?

So i dropped my i phone 3gs and the whole screen turned completely white, i can power it off by sliding my finger where the slide to power off thing is, other than that nothing is working what so ever, i was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it (without having to buy anything)?

You won't need to buy anything but when you take it to the repair store to replace the display they will probably want some money for the parts and labor.

Sounds to me as if the LCD behind the glass screen is damaged. You will have to get the screen fixed, and I'm afraid it will cost you some money. I wouldn't go with Apple though, they rip you off. I held the home and power buttons and it showed me that the battery was super low with the little red lines hasn't shown me that since now it's just frozen on black apple logo with white background and the screen flickers occasionally i've had it plugged into the wall charging for 2 hours now and still nothing should I go get it looked at by apple or do I just leave it charging longer?
