I dropped my iPhone 4 in the toilet? - 2
Okay well like I said I dropped my iPhone 4 in the toilet and it was completely submerged for about 6 seconds. I put it in a bag of rice for a while, but now the charger won't fit in it and the lock button doesn't work. So my question is do I just have to replace my phone, or is there any way of fixing this?
Wrap in a towel and put on a low setting radiator to dry out. Rice it for a day or replace the phone. Unfortunate I feel your pain.
No one knows, you would need to take it to an apple store or send it in so they can see how much damage was done inside.
Two ways.
1. Try leaving it in rice for 1-3 days.
2. Try go to the store and buy some cat litter.Cat litter is much more absorbent than rice but still leave your phone in it for around 1-3 days.
Try these and your phone should be back to normal.

If a while was at least 48 hours then it is knackered, if it was less and you tried to charge/turn it on then it will have shorted out components and probably too late now.
