I dropped my iPhone in the sink? - 1
This is so stupid I know. But I was washing my face and I had the tap running. I put my iPhone 4s on the ledge of the sink and it fell in under the running water. I immediately removed it, took of the case, and put it in rice. My phone works totally fine now. Only the screen got wet. However, I'm a little concerned that there might be long term damage. Will my phone start acting funny later down the road because of this? Please note that the case is an otterbox and it protects the usb jack, speakers and headphone jack.
I think my case ultimately saved my phone but I'm still concered.
Get a bag of rice and bury the phone in the rice for a few days.
Keep the rice in a warm dry area.
The rice will literally pull any moisture thats left in the phone out of it.
No, there will be no long term damage as long as you got all the moisture out.
- Just dropped my iphone 4 in the sink? I got it out very quickly but it turned it self off. I've not tried to turn it back on yet, i've just put it in a bag of rice and put it on the radiator. Has anyone had the same problem? And do you have any suggestions please?
