I dropped my IPhone in the sink is it ok?
I was washing my hands with my iPhone sitting there and it fell in when I looked away I was quick to get it out, and it's working ok in fact I'm asking this question on it I'm just wondering the harm the inside could have taken and how to prevent it from breaking my iPhone
Put your phone in a bowl of dry uncooked rice! It will dry out the moisture from inside your phone.
If the iPhone is still working then its fine but if it shut off i would remove everything from the iphone including they sim card and put it in some tuberware filled with uncooked rice. Keep the iphone in the rice for 3 days and then put the sim back in and plug the ipohne into a charger

Turn it off and submerge it in rice overnight to get out any excess water. It should still work properly but sometimes it seems like its ok and the water damage takes over and shuts the phone down. It is your choice but I would use the rice. It has always worked for us. My dad took a dive in the pool with his and after putting it in the rice ( for two weeks because it was submerged) It worked. I would not have used it unless you knew it was completely dry, but I think you'll be ok.
Was the sink full of water?
Before you let iphone be dry, don't turn it on.

- Just dropped my iphone 4 in the sink? I got it out very quickly but it turned it self off. I've not tried to turn it back on yet, i've just put it in a bag of rice and put it on the radiator. Has anyone had the same problem? And do you have any suggestions please?

The only sound that was coming out is when i talk on the phone or when the alarm goes off. Can someone help me!
