I dropped my iphone in the toilet help? - 1
I have an iphone 4 and i had it in my pocket and i pulled my pants down and it fell out into the toilet. I've had it in rice all night, how long will it take to dry out and be able to be used again?
First of all, LOL, second, i would wait like a day or two just to make sure and put it i a relatively warm place but not hot because that could damage it.
I would leave it for at least 24 hours in the rice. Then take it out and try it.
I'd leave it in there for at least 24 hours just to be safe. If you happen to have a bag full of silica packets, those work better than rice but chances are you won't have a lot of those laying around.
DO NOT use a hair dryer. Rice for 24 hours and then maybe put on the heating vent for an hour or so.
