I dropped my iphone in the toilet - 3
I have an iphone 4 and i had it in my pocket and i pulled my pants down and it fell out into the toilet. It was there for like 3 seconds and i put it in rice as soon as i took it out and I've had it in rice all night, how long will it take to dry out and be able to be used again?
Added (1). Also being the idiot that i'm i tried to turn it on 3 times and the apple came up and flashed and then shut off and then the apple didn't even come on.

It might take a while… Wait about 24-48 hours before powering it on if it still dosent work take it to the mac store and tell them you dropped it in the sink because it would prob be really embarrsing to tell them the truth lol but next time just get one of those waterproof cases… Hope i helped.
Leave it in the rice for another 24 hours, then wrap it in a towel for another night. Usually things work themselves out. Don't try to turn it on again until it's completely dry. When mine got wet, the screen colors looked washed out permanently after. :/ Best of luck.
