I dropped my iphone in water.can I still save it?
So I dropped my phone in a puddle of water yesterday night. I immediately pulled it out of the water. (it was probably only in the puddle for like 1 second). After 5 minutes or so, I put my iphone 5 in a bowl of dry rice. Then, this morning I tried to power it on to see if it still works and it was working for a little bit, but then the page started to smear. My alarm clock was working and I was able to read my texts for a little bit. The, it stopped working. I put the iphone back in the dry rice. Will it work? How long should I leave it in rice?
You should put it in the freezer, it really helps.
Oh yea. Lias. Tell them how to destroy it and give yourself a gold star.
If you put it in the freezer, condensation will form and destroy it when it starts to warm back up.
Turn the thing off and leave it in the rice for a couple of days. Don't mess with it at all. Give it at least two days in the rice with the power turned off. No promises but this is about your only hope.
Just keep doing what you're doing. It should be fine. I accidentally put my phone in the washing machine and it stopped working then but a puddle for a second shouldn't do much damage.
Don't try to switch on your mobile. Remove its battery and leave it until all the water entered in it gets escaped. Apply hot blower. You should have not switched on it. However, try this thing. If you are lucky, it will work. If not, you will have to go service centre.

- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
- I dropped my iphone 4 in water and my rear camera has water in it I dropped my phone in the toilet, as soon as it landed i grabbed it back out. I was running late so I just dried it off and left. An hour later I see my rear camera is blurry when trying to take a picture and I look at the camera and it's all foggy from moisture! Like a bathroom mirror after a shower! How can I rid of that?! The rest of my phone is working fine, just that foggy camera…
