I dropped my iphone in water (toilet)?
It fell out of my back pocket into the toilet face down it was only in there for a few seconds when I took it out it was still on but then a minute later it turned off and I've had it in rice for a few days and all it's been doing it showing the apple sign and then the dead battery sign I didn't have anything backed up (worst mistake ever made with my phone) is there any way I can back it up from a computer and how do I fix my phone or how long does it need to stay on the rice I can't get a new phone for a while and I have over a thousand pictures on it I need good advise nothing stupid

Yeah it sounds like it might have broke/shorted. Look up a phone fixing place on Google Maps and see which one is closest to your location. With a little luck, maybe you can go there and they'll either fix it, or you can trade it in for a new one. My store does that.
- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
