I dropped my iphone in water yet it still works?
This morning at 7 I dropped my phone in the toilet because I forgot it was in my back pocket. (I know I'm stupid) So anyways, the phone still worked. I dried everything off with a hair dryer and played a song to check the sound and it works just fine, it charges normally, I can still use headphones and nothing is practically wrong wth it. My home button is a little laggy but that's it. It was probably underwater for 6 seconds and it went all the way under. Should I do anything else or is it okay?
Put it on a bag of dry rice
You can pray. Oftentimes, the internal damage doesn't show up until a couple of days later, particularly if there's water still inside. If I were you I would set the phone down and not touch it for a few days -- and let the water inside evaporate before it sloshes around and does more damage.
Time will tell. It hasn't even been 24 hours yet.
We don't know if it's ok or not, but there's nothing else you should do for the moment. If it's damaged, you'll know it soon.

- I dropped my iphone on the ground in the rain and it still works, should I still put it in rice? It's been thundering the past week and I dropped my phone on my driveway. It was there for no more than five minutes and it works fine, I had it in rice for ten minutes (doubt it did any good lol) should I keep it in the rice if it works fine?
