I dropped my iPhone six into water for a full three seconds! What do I do?

It had an off brand otter box on it, and the audio is perfect from both ways per usual, but I'm afraid to plug it up to charge. What do I do? Please help! I can't afford to fix this or buy a new phone.

Put it in Rice.

Put it in a Zip-Lock bag with rice for about a day. The rice will absorb the water inside the phone.

First you need to dry it with vacuum cleaner, then put it in jar of rice for at least 2 or 3 days. Do no start your phone. After all is done, try to start your iPhone. Hope it will start. As a smart Phone user, do install Leo Privacy Guard Best app for smartphone, extend battery life

  • Just dropped iPhone in sink full of water I quickly pulled it out and it's working now… But I know there's water in it! What do I do!
  • Just dropped Iphone 6 into bathtub full of water? Its working perfectly fine, taking photos, playing music etc and is sitting in rice now. Just wondering if there will be any side effects to my phone. Was only in the bath tub for about 7 seconds.
  • I dropped my iPhone X in about two feet of water in a shallow part of a pool for about thirty seconds. Has it been damaged? Two hours later and the screen is working fine and the speaker was muffled slightly at first until I played a tone app to see if it would help and now it's no longer muffled when playing music. Since it's water resistant or can be submersed up to 3 ft maximum and I dropped it in 2 ft of water for 30 seconds, could it be fine? Or I let it continue to sit in rice? Should I use other desiccants?
  • I dropped my iPhone six down the toilet? Although everything works (apart from the finger print) I'm still weary as I have heard stores where they have dropped their phone down the toilet and it was fine but the next day it didn't work. I only dropped it a few hours ago and it was in there for another 1-2 seconds. Would appreciate any advice on how to maybe stope it not working in the near future.
