I got coffee in my iPhone 5?
So i put my iPhone 5 and coffee thermos in the same bag. BIG MISTAKE! The top came undone and apparently some of it soaked into the iPhone, specifically the headphone and speaker parts. I could already see liquid getting in under the screen so i turned it off but didn't have access to any rice for about an hour and a half. It is currently in a container filled with rice. Is there any hope for my phone or should i just go get it fixed? If so, does anyone know approximately how much it will cost? The coffee had creamer and sugar in it.
You don't fix an iPhone. You just replace it.
See if it works when it's dry. If not, go get another one.
I recently dropped my iPhone 5 down the toilet, and it was completely broken wouldn't even let me turn it off! I let it die, and when I got back from work left it in a bag of rice, airtight to be specific. 48 hours later it was a bit better, soaked most of the water, I put it back in for another 48 hours and took it out. My phone is fine now with the slight exception of the motion sensor in it doesn't work anymore, it's completely shot! I went on settings and turned on reduce motion and it's fine now, I has a fine times where the touch screen presses itself. Once every few hours. But it's bare able and I can cope with it. I'm not sure if it'll be the same with coffee, but I would assume there'd be no difference, hope this helped
It's done. And I highly doubt you were smart and purchased an accidental protection plan. An iphone 5 through Apple without AppleCare+ $270.
When I bought my 5S I got AC+ immediatley since I have heard too many horror stories both here and where I work.
- How to Siri: Remind me when my last cup of coffee was? How can I dictate with Siri into iPhone (6S) so that it stores the last time I had a cup of coffee? The reason is I'm trying go cut down my caffeine intake, and so before I have another cup, I want to ask Siri, "When was my last cup of coffee?" (eg 5 hours later). I don't want to do it with a pencil and paper or enter it into a note. If there's a way to use Siri in that capacity, that would really be awesome to learn.
- Other games similar to LINE I Love Coffee? I can't expand my coffee shop in i love coffee without help from LINE friends! And i don't hv friends using LINE who plays dat game so i can't proceed… So is there any games that is similar to i love coffee on iphones that does not need the help of others to play?
- I spilled coffee on my iphone 5c? I spilled a lot of coffee on my iphone today. It works perfectly fine, I turned it off and soaked it in rice all day, but this message shows up that says "cable is incompatible with iphone" but it's not plugged in. There's no cable. What should I do? It also does this little freeze thing, I think it has a glitch, should I put it in rice for more time? Should I clean it out?
