I have a jailbroken Iphone 3gs with 4.1 and 6.15.00 is it safe to upgrade?

I want to upgrade to 5.1.1 without loosing the unlock or jailbreak. How can I do that?

No it is not

Sorry it's not possible to Upgrade the I-phone 3GS IOS to 5.1.1 or any latest version of IOS without loosing the unlocking and Jailbreaking. Once you upgrade the I-phone IOS to latest version 100% sure the jailbreak and unlock will be deleted. So you need to unlock it and jailbreak it again. You can Jailbreak the I-PHONE 3GS easily using the site http://www.idownloadblog.com/jailbreak/ and Unlock the I-phone 3GS easily using the Remote Unlock service.Visit the site http://www.simpleunlocking.com/apple-iphone-3gs/rs16wp9/ get the Remote unlock service and unlock it from service provider lock. Then use with other GSM Network sim card.(You need to specify the current network and country It's locked now and get the Remote Unlock service and unlock it easily). In this method Jailbreaking is not compulsory one. In other Unlocking methods you need to jailbreak the I-phones 3gs to unlocking it. So i would suggest this easy method. To Unlock it step by step follow the unlocking instructions below:

Apple iPhone 3GS Unlocking Instructions:

1. Wait for us to send you an email saying your phone has been activated or remotely unlocked.
2. Install the latest version of iTunes.
3. Make sure your Apple iPhone 3GS phone software is updated to the latest version using the iTunes software.
4. Connect your Apple iPhone 3GS to iTunes with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM card.
5. Wait until iTunes detects your Apple iPhone 3GS.
6. Disconnect your Apple iPhone 3GS and reconnect it after 10 seconds.
7. Your Apple iPhone 3GS is now unlocked.

If you upgrade it will be gone.
You can safely update the OS on your handset at any time, and sync your device with your computer without fear of Apple removing your unlock
We provide an AT&T Official, Permanent, Apple unlock that remove any network restrictions your iPhone may have by marking your handset as unlocked in Apple's IMEI database.
Once your Unlock has been processed just follow these simple steps:

1) Open iTunes on your Mac or PC (verify you have internet connectivity).

2) Connect your iPhone to your computer using the USB data cable.

3) Backup and Restore your iPhone using iTunes.

4) Once your iPhone is restored it will have the Factory Unlock in place!

  • Jailbroken iphone 3g always crashes into safe mode My phone is really old and somewhat broken (can't connect to Wi-Fi.) I haven't downloaded many cida apps but my phone will randomly go into safe mode when I'm texting or playing a game. Is there a way I could stop this from happening? It's really annoying. I'm thinking about just un-jailbreaking the phone.
