I have an iPhone six that doesn't have service set up. How do I get the pictures off of it?

I used an inactive iPhone 6 to take pictures at my friend s wedding and I can't get them off the phone. Is there a way to do this? They re not uploading when I plug the USB cord into my computer. Does the phone HAVE to have service to use the internet? IIm so confused.

If it doesn't have service you can use it just like an iPod. If you hook it up to Wi-Fi, it'll have Internet. Just like an iPod would. It should connect to your computer via USB, but since it's not make sure when you plug in the phone that you open the phone after it's plugged in and a message will come up saying "do you trust this computer?" Hit trust and something should pop up on the computer and hit "import all pictures and videos" and it should probably work.

If you have your Wi-Fi set up on the iPhone 6 and another iPhone but make sure they are both on the same Wi-Fi. Click on the picture you want and you will see a little arrow at the bottom left corner click that and hit the thing that says airdrop and have the other iPhone airdrop on too. Or you can make a iMessage with your email on the iPhone 6 and send the pics via iMessage to the other iPhone.

No it doesn't have to have service to get access to Wi-Fi. Using USB it should just be a matter of checking My Computer (Windows) or Image Capture (Mac) no internet would be involved at that point.
