I have an iphone through us cellular. Can i use it on prepaid?

I was gonna use it on contract but it is too expensive! Can i use it on prepaid? It is a us cellular iphone?

Well, there's a problem. USCC just started selling iPhones this year. That means it sounds like you just got it recently and decided to bounce on the bill but still want to use the phone elsewhere. If any part of that is true, then USCC has fried the electronic serial number of the phone for violation of contract terms and blacklisted it. That means it will never be reactivated in the US ever again by any carrier. Only if you paid the ETF and left in good standing and can get the phone unlocked (USCC won't do that--it's too new) can it ever be used again as a phone. It's now an iPod only. Best luck.

You need to get the phone unlocked and then use it on prepaid carriers like StraightTalk, MetroPCS, SimpleMobile, etc. If you need help with getting the phone unlocked, mail me for references.
