Ditch the iPhone, Android phones can do way more. Kyocera Hydro Life is a pretty cool phone. Waterproof and durable, and it costs way less ($150). I have an LG Optimus F60, and I can't complain. Even Alcatel phones beat iPhone. And yes, I have had an iPhone (4S). Went android and never looked back.
Nexus 6 is a really nice phone. Massive screen, stereo speakers. Or the HTC one M9 is also really nice
