I lost my verizon iphone
Someone Please help! I lost my iohine 5c & its on airplane mode and find my iphone was turned off so there's really no way that we can track it so. I didn't have insurance on my phone to get a new one so can i start paying for insurance and then a few days later? Is that possible? Will it work?
No you can't buy insurance now and pretend to lose it a few days after you buy the insurance.
Why, to buy it now you will need to take it into the carriers store so that a rep can see that the phone is in working order and NOT damaged, they know about that scam! LOL
The third party insurance options, will ask for your phone number, to send a text that you reply to via that phone, to confirm that the phone has both service and that it can receive text. They know about the scam too!
The cell phone provider has an added catch, they can monitor the IMEI or ESN of the phone to see when it was last turned on and used on YOUR account. Another one of those "WE GOT YA's", because they will ask you question to confirm when it was lost.
So no your little scam will NOT work. Better luck with your next phone.
- Will Verizon let me connect a Stolen/Lost iPhone? So I found an iPhone 4, and was wondering if I'm able to connect it to a Verizon Wireless Data Package Plan. I'm not sure if it has been reported stolen, but it's no longer connected so I'm guessing it has been. If I call or bring it in will they let me connect it?
