I need serious help! Prepaid go phone on iPhone 3GS?
I activated my att go phone prepaid sim and all that it works but when I put the sim in my iPhone 3GS it says searching… And then no service. I have tried everything
Turning off and on airplane mode
Disable 3G
Restore iphone
Etc.
I have put my brothers AT&T SIM card in and it works perfect. If I downgrade the baseband will it work?

I think you should get a new SIM card
The only way it could work if the iPhone is unlocked. You can go AT&T and ask them to do it. After they do it will work with any sim card anywhere in the world.
- What's a prepaid phone? Can IPhones be prepaid? I'm going to buy an IPhone 4 from my friend and i'm wondering if it can be prepaid? If so do I need anything like a sim chip? & It's not on contract… Or could I just go on a plan without being on a contract?
- Need some serious advice about my iphone 4s? I dropped my iphone 4s in the water a few days ago. I left my phone in rice like people told me to for two days, but it doesn't seem to work. My contract ends in november but they said i can change my phone on july 14. I have verizon btw. I have like three weeks left, but i have some very important stuff in my phone and i'm expecting some calls/texts. Will verizon fix my phone, but more importantly, can they fix my phone? Or is it dead already? any advice would be appreciated!

Basically i have a second hand IPHONE 3GS which the previous owner had on giff gaff, i bought a giff gaff sim and put it in my phone after i reset it, i pass the language and country setup, i choose my Wi-Fi and then start to activate my phone, it leaves it about 2 minutes and then gives me the message: error message activation server temporarily unavailable.can't activate iphone I KNOW FOR A FACT IT WASN't JAIL BROKEN So SOMEONE Please Help iPhone 3GS, I Can't ACCESS MY PHONE
- IPhone 3GS help! My phone won't turn on So today my phone basically overloaded and it was stuck on the stating screen (Apple Logo) For like a hour before i fixed it from that problem. I had to restore my phone but about a little less then half way through it stopped and said error 9 and stopped the process. The phone will not turn on now and when i plug it into itunes nothing happens. If anyone could please help i would be very very grateful!
