I need some iPhone help! Is anyone out there an iCloud expert?
Here's what happened: My son forgot his password to his iPhone. I read online that the only thing you can do is to restore the phone. I hooked it up to the computer and restored it. Well, it put all my contacts from my phone into his phone. I deleted them out of his phone and it deleted them out of my phone as well. I turned off the iCloud settings. He just informed me that whenever I text someone, it goes to him as well. Whenever someone texts me, it goes to me and him.
I think thats not related to iCloud. I think it is related to iMessage. Go to Settings > Messages and scroll down and you will see an option that reads "Receive at". Currently mine is set to two addresses. My iCloud account and my phone number, so I can receive messages at two addresses. Check that!
- Need expert phone programmers advice? I don't much about phone security, but I know that they say iPhones have greater security over Androids, however Androids have an easy way to completely wipe the phone unlike iPhone. With iPhone there are apps to see screen time from whichever phone and iPhone isn't immune so where is the security? No alerts?
