I want to hook up my iPhone 4 to my Vizio 42 in. T. V?

I have a digital AV adapter and an HDMI cord but I need info on it like: can I play a movie that is off of safari., and how do I get it to play on the tv, basically saying do I need to do anything special on my iPhone or on the tv. I need a straight forward answer on all of this stuff. I've already bought a Digital AV adapter, but I just wanna make sure I didn't waste my money. I also have a ps3. Can I hook it up through that?

Apple tv ($100) would have been the simplest option. You can use the DLNA feature in the ps3 to stream certain movies over Wi-Fi (using a DLNA app like skifta) but you are limited to only movies that have no copyright protection.

  • My iPhone won't charge no matter what i hook it up to So when i plug it into my home to charge, it does for a second then either just stops or has a plug sign inside the battery. When i plug it into the computer it says that the USB was drawing to much power and was disabled. It said that on both of the computers i plugged it into and with both of the USB's i tried. It is now dead. It just started doing this today and worked perfectly fine yesterday. How to fix this?

  • I want to hook my iphone to a second computer? I used to have a laptop of which contained my ITunes library and I was able to sync my library music to my Iphone (4) and everything was happy. However, that computer is now totally broke and no way could I even turn it on again for one its to slow and secondly the chemicals in the battery have exploded anyway I now have a new laptop. I have re installed ITunes although I can't get my iPhone the sync to that it just won't hook to it? Someone be a babe and help. X
