If I buy an iPhone 5 at full price from Verizon, can I activate it on a prepaid plan?
Just a simple Verizon question.
If I were to buy a Verizon branded iPhone 5 at full price from Verizon (or a used one off of Ebay for that matter), would I be able to activate it on a Verizon prepaid plan? I know that Verizon offers prepaid plans for smartphones, but I don't see the iPhone as one of the phone options for purchase. I've tried all carriers that offer service in my area, and Verizon is by far the most reliable. I'm just not looking to be on a contract plan right now and I would really like to keep using the iPhone.

- Would I be able to buy an iPhone 5s from a T-Mobile store and then activate the $30 prepaid plan? Like can I buy the phone at the store and activate it or do I have to buy the phone at Walmart while I get the plan.
- Should I buy an iPhone on a plan or should I pay for the full price upfront? What are pros and cons? To be honest I want to pay for it upfront because buying it on a plan feels like I'm just renting it. I want to feel like I actually own the phone.
