If I buy an unlocked iPhone from Ebay can I put it on my Tmobile plan?
I already have a plan and just want to switch the phone.
If you buy an unlocked GSM phone (used att or tmobile) it would work. But you'd have to be sure it's really unlocked and buying online is not a good way to determine that. Best to buy a used phone locally and have the buyer meet you at a tmobile store to have it check for compatibility and that it's working well.
- Will an unlocked iphone 4S work for tmobile if it isn't factory unlocked? I want to get an iPhone 4S and my friend has the iPhone 4 unlocked but i'm worried that if i get it non-factory unlocked it won't work. My uncle tried to do it a couple of months ago and apple said that if it was factory unlocked every time the phone shut off or died it would reset. I was just wondering if the same thing would happen if it wasn't factory unlocked? So if I get it unlocked everytime it will shut off it will reset? That is what i'm worried about.
- Should i buy an iphone from ebay or tmobile? I'm planning to get an iphone 5s 16gb this weekend but I don't know if i should buy it off Ebay and save about $100 or pay the full price at T-mobile. I'm afraid that I will get scammed by the seller on ebay but i also would like to save $100. I also want it brand new because i love to keep things new and in perfect condition but the guy on Ebay has his box opened (although the front and back protecters are still on). What do you guys recommend?
- Is it cheaper to get a new iPhone on a plan or buy it unlocked and add a cheap plan? I can either buy the phone for $250 and pay a monthly $80 plan with data for 2 years or purchase the unlocked phone $800 and pay $30 - $50 a month - I might not get data but it wouldn't be a big deal to me, I'm just trying to find a deal thats not ridiculously expensive cause I can't really afford too too much right now. Which would be better?
- IPhone 3GS unlocked for tmobile, no data plan? I want to get an iPhone and just us Wi-Fi no data can I turn that off, I think I can. Will tmobile charge me for data? Should I contact them? And no I don't want an iPod touch and basic cell phone. Will this work I need a 100% sure answers cause I can't afford the data plan.
