If I get an iPhone 4S will it come with iOS 6?

If you don't know, the iPhone 5 came out yesterday. And I don't really want it because I like the small screen of the 4S. So I'm getting the 4S in about a week. And the iPhone 5 has the new iOS 6 update I think, and the app store & camera settings look alot different. And I don't really want that, so when I buy my iPhone 4S will it come with that update already?

Actually the iPhone 5 came out last Friday NOT yesterday. Also NO the iPhone 4S does not come with iOS 6 you must upgrade manually.

In a week you will have to do it your self or get someone at the apple store to do it for you. But if you were to buy it in like 2-3 months it will probably have IOS 6 installed.

Since i updated my iPad 3 and my iPhone 4 to iOS 7 My iPad and iPhone has been glitching too much and it is too annoying sometimes my iPad and my iPhone crashes then the apple logo shows up unexpectedly and my iPad and iPhone lags at times. When apple release iOS 7.1? Btw all my apps are update for the iOS 7 All my apps except for few (like whatsapp) are optimise for ios 7

  • Is it too late to get ios 7 on my iPhone 4s? I'm still on ios 6 and don't want to get 8? I didn't really care for the new look of ios 7 and never updated the software on my iPhone 4s, but now that ios 8 is out, I wish I had updated to 7 while I still could. I really feel like my software is old and outdated, so it would be nice to upgrade. Is there any way to upgrade to 7 now? If not, I'll stay at 6 because I hear ios 8 runs terribly on 4s.
