If i get shared data 2gb on iphone?

When the limit is over can i still use the apps and surf on safari? Or will that just mean i can't download more apps. Also when i get over the limit can i just delete apps and ill have space?

When you go over the data limit you will be charged a fee, but everything still will work, including surfing, apps, downloading, streaming, etc

what you will be charged varies from service to service, but Verizon for example charges $10 for every gb over the plan allowed.

You can't delete apps to get more space. If you go over your data your going to pay more.

Contract carriers will certainly let you continue to use data even once you've reached your two gigabyte limit. They're just going to charge you a lot to do so. On older plans it is typical to be charged $10 per gigabyte you go over. On the newer share everything plans and plans where one data package is shared between multiple phones the overage charge is more like $15 per gigabyte.

Deleting apps will give you more space on the phone to store things, but the phone memory is not the same as the Gigabytes allotted for data usage. The only way to stop data usage if you're close to going over would be to put the phone on Wi-Fi if you have it available.

  • Will 4GB shared data be enough for two iPhone 5's? I'm signing up with Verizon today and getting two iPhone 5's. On average, is 4GB shared data per month enough to compensate for both devices?
  • What is 1GB of shared data for iphone 4? - 1 Ok i might get an iphone 4 from at&t that is 8GB, but when i went to the mobile share plans there's a thing about 1GB of shared data with unlimited talk and text. My question is what is shared data? And the examples of using it? And how much does is 1GB to be used?
  • What does having mobile hotspot on a shared data plan mean? I really want to get either the Samsung Galaxy S III or iPhone 5 on either AT&T or Verizon. I noticed that when you get a Mobile Share/Share Everything plan, the hotspot feature is free. Does using it still come out of your data amount, or is it unlimited?
  • Something about exceeding my data allowance under my Verizon family shared plan? So here's the deal: I have a family plan with 4GB data plan and unlimited text and call which costs 50 bux per month, but what happens if I exceed the total data allowed? I'm a iphone photographer which requires me to constantly upload photos to Instagram almost everyday, and I'm really afraid of being charged a lot if I exceed the total data allowed…
