Depends on the location. Of course most people here wouldn't be able to verify that.
Who knows? And who actually cares? If the phone is hot and in short supply at that store, the line will go away the second the phone is sold out of any free stock vs pre-ordered devices.
To find out about that particular store, call them up and ask if they have a long line and if there are several non pre-order phone for walk ins to purchase. And get there EARLY rather than 5 hours after they open the doors. Or wait a month for the holiday sales and pick one up at that time.
