If I restore factory settings on iphone 5 will all my saved text messages be lost from the phone?
Restoring factory settings (Erase All Content and Settings) removes everything from the device, there will be no Apple ID on it, no texts, calls history, contacts, apps etc, everything will be deleted

- Text messages lost after iphone restore? I recently dropped my phone, breaking the screen. While the screen was broken, the phone itself was still functional even though the display showed nothing. I could feel text alerts coming in as I took it to get repaired, unfortunately the only backup I had was from before those texts were sent so i no longer have them on my phone. Is there a way I can view the texts that were sent to me while my display was broken?
