IMessage not working on iPhone 4s?

I'm connected to the internet and everything. All the apps that require internet works perfectly fine and the Wi-Fi at home is full bars and is working perfectly fine… However, I can't use iMessage. It stays green when it's usually blue for the people that I text. I tried restarting the phone and router and that didn't work. I tried turning iMessage off then on again and I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Wi-Fi on my phone but nothing seems to be working… It was fine until I changed the password on my Wi-Fi but I added everything back to my phone? What is the problem here? How can I fix it?

And my phone is iOS 6

Added (1). IMessage is on and both me and the other person have iMessage and we're both connected to the internet… O.o

Make sure iMessage is on in te messaging settings, also the person your sending to may have iMessage disabled/no Wi-Fi or 3G therefore it's sending as a text

  • Why is my iPhone 5 imessage not working all of a sudden? This has never happened before. It was working fine all day up until about an hour or so ago. I tried restarting and all of the "fixes" but nothing worked… Help!

  • IPhone push/imessage not working? Been having problems with my iPhone for about an hour, all of a sudden iMessage's have stopped sending and I'm unable to get any push notifications (twitter, facebook, etc) are coming through. I've reset the phone numerous times to no avail. Any ideas what else I can do? I've checked notifications in settings and their all on. It's happened before but it hasn't stopped my iMessage working too.
