IMessage won't activate on new iPhone 5S?

I recently purchased a new iPhone 5S from Phones4U, it is on EE.
It won't allow me to activate iMessage or FaceTime. It comes up saying there was an error and to try again. No matter how many times I retry it still won't work, the same message keeps re-appearing.
I have 10GB of data allowance, I've tried it with both my Wi-Fi and cellular data switched on and it didn't work, then I tried again with just cellular data on, on its own and it still doesn't work.

I've checked all restrictions and FaceTime isn't restricted.

I followed the steps on the Apple website about troubleshooting and still no hope.

Has anyone else had this issue? How do I get it to work?

It just says waiting for activation and i can't select my phone number i the send and receive section.

I have a sprint iphone 5 my phone is off right now but I still use it on Wi-Fi and i restored my phone and my imessage won't activate… Its so annoying i put ios 7 on it the other day and it was working fine because on 6.1.4 it was getting annoying… No one else is having this problem its just me ugh someone help me please
  • IMessage won't send to another iPhone with iMessage? So my iMessage works to all my friends that have iMessage except one friend in particular. He has iMessage on his phone and can iMessage all his friends but he can't iMessage me. We both have iMessage turned on on our phones but they simply will not iMessage each other.
