How does my Instagram keep getting hacked?
These past few days my Instagram account has been getting hacked and stolen by some Russian email address. Because they keep changing the email address to a russian one. Two times already I have reversed it and gotten it back. Even after the first time enabling two-step verification.
How does this keep happening? I have changed my passwords. Unless it's some kind of virus but I scanned my desktop computer, and thats the only PC I ever logged into it with, is it possible my iPhone has a virus on it? It's fairly new, like a month old and I haven't downloaded any unauthorized stuff, actually haven't downloaded a whole lot yet.

The same thing happened to me just now! I joined Instagram on Monday (4-4-17), but on Thursday (4-6-17) I got an email saying that my account email had changed to ivanbivjio@bk.ru. My username had been changed to christieses60. I don't know who made these changes. It's bizarre because I also saw someone on another website saying that a similar thing happened to her, and yes it was with a.ru email address. The strange thing about me though is that I joined instagram pretty secretly. I didn't tell anyone that I joined, because I didn't care about getting followers. I only followed 11 people, I have 3 followers, (3 of my friends followed me back after I followed them) and I didn't make a single post, not one. I have no idea why someone would want to hack my account. It's worth nothing.
You must first change the email and then the password, if you change your password first then the hacker will get notified about it.
As for the virus part. If you have a spyware or a keylogger your Antivirus might not be able to find it, try out MalwareFox instead which is an Anti-Malware.
If you still can't manage to escape from the hacker then I suggest that you'd contact support so that you can block access from his area.
But this seems fishy. Do you use passwords that are easy to guess or something? It might also be that one of your friends is pranking you by getting access upclose and changes the password on his own or something.
- Why does the Wi-Fi on my iPhone 4 keep getting disconnected? When I'm using my phone the Wi-Fi keeps getting disconnected and goes to 3G then 4 seconds or so later it goes back on. This happens every minute.
- Why does my music keep getting removed from playlists? In the iPhone Music app (not Apple Music) songs I've bought from iTunes keep getting removed from playlists. The songs will still be on my phone but I keep having to re-add them to the playlists.
- Why does my iphone keep getting this error? I assume its an error at least. So when i'm listening to music on grooveshark about half through every song i get this stupid message that says "could not load movie" and resets the song or skips it. I'm very upset by this because i can't go a day without music and its been doing this for a week.
- Why does Instagram keep force closing? Every time I try to take a picture using the Instagram application on my iPhone, it closes on it's own before the picture is even taken. I uninstalled it a few times, then installed it again, but it still did not allow me to take a picture. I even close it myself after double clicking the home button. If anyone can tell me, what I need to do to fix this problem, please let me know.
