IOS 7 not playing text tone?
Just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this. My text tone doesn't play for people in my contacts that do not have iMessage. So if someone texts me with iMessage it will play but if they don't it won't. Is anyone else having this problem as well on the iPhone 4 version of iOS 7?
I have the same problem with my iPhone 5 it's just a bug I should be fixed in the next update.
Is your UDID registered? A lot of people have reported problems like this when they run the beta without registering their UDID with a developer account through a site like http://www.udid.in/.It's $5, and then you also don't need to worry about Apple disabling your device for running unreleased software.
- Why isn't my text tone working on my iPhone 4s? It's a brand new phone. The volume is all the way up and all of my other tones work fine. In the settings, it indicates that it will both play the tone and vibrate when I get a text. It does neither.
- Setting a ring tone on IPhone 4S for all emergency text messages? I have an Iphone 4S and I want to set a custom ring tone for all emergency text messages I receive. These text messages come from a different number each and every time. (ie. 777203777562, 777… ). All text messages start with "alert@erie.gov".Is there any program or any way where I can create a ring tone for all these numbers without typing them all in?
- My text tone does not work (iPhone)? I have the iPhone 4S & the "Alert" text tone set. When I'm on my phone & I receive a text, it rings. But when my phone is locked & I receive a text, it doesn't ring or vibrate or do anything. What do I do to fix this?
- Iphone Text Privacy: make a text come up but not include the message? A friend of mine has her Iphone set to when a text comes up on her lockscreen, it says the contact but it just says "imessage" where the text should be. It's like: Shelly Imessage Any idea how I set that up? She said someone did it for her and had no idea how to do it.
